Coordinate Catch: a football coordinate grid game for kids

How to play: The quarterback stands at (0, 0) and four receivers spread out on the grid. Read each question, then tap the right receiver or pick the right answer to complete the pass: 10 passes a game, and 7 catches unlock the next level. Ages 8โ€“10 (grades 3โ€“5) find and name points in the first quadrant; ages 11โ€“12 (grade 6) use all four quadrants, moves and mirror flips; ages 13โ€“14 (grades 7โ€“8) work out pass lengths with the Pythagorean theorem, midpoints and slope.

What kids learn: Reading and plotting ordered pairs, negative numbers on a coordinate plane, distance on a grid, reflections and translations, midpoints, slope and the Pythagorean theorem. Made for ages 8โ€“14 (about grades 3โ€“8), with three age levels (8โ€“10, 11โ€“12 and 13โ€“14) and Levels 1โ€“3 in each. Free, no accounts, no ads, never betting.
